From Client to Coach: Brandon Tyler-Williams Johnson's Inspiring Journey at [solidcore]

Brandon Tyler-Williams Johnson is more than just a fitness trainer at [solidcore]—he's a beacon of motivation and a champion of community. His journey from client to coach is a testament to his passion for the environment and culture that [solidcore] fosters. "What drew me to become a [solidcore] pro coach was the sense of community," Brandon shares. "These are amazing people that find themselves in the room, and I train for hours to become the best version of myself for them. Because they deserve that."

"What drew me to become a [solidcore] pro coach was the sense of community"

[solidcore] is known for its unique approach to fitness, and Brandon's classes are no exception. He describes [solidcore] as a place that breaks down slow-twitch muscle fibers through controlled movements, creating an intense yet welcoming environment. But what sets Brandon's classes apart is his emphasis on intensity. "My niche is that I lean heavily on the intensity," he explains. "Not just through the routine, but through the vibe." From hiphop and rap music blaring through the speakers to his encouragement for clients to try new challenges, Brandon's classes are a testament to his commitment to helping his clients be the strongest version of themselves.

But [solidcore] isn't just about physical fitness—it's also about mental strength. "We challenge clients to think and feel more when it comes to this workout," Brandon says. "Digging deep into the 'why' is very important as it helps clients set the correct goals and expectations." This holistic approach sets [solidcore] apart from other fitness studios, ensuring that clients not only feel the burn during class but also carry that sense of accomplishment with them outside the studio.

One common misconception about high-intensity, low-impact workouts like [solidcore] is that they're only for the fit and strong. Brandon is quick to dispel this myth, emphasizing that [solidcore] is an all-inclusive fitness studio ready for anyone willing to challenge themselves. As a Full Time School Teacher, Brandon knows how to make the workout process fun and enjoyable, creating themed classes that drive interest and encourage clients to step out of their comfort zones.

“Anyone that walks into my room will always receive a warm welcome,All of this while saying their name, which is such an important thing to me”

Brandon's coaching style is defined by connection and accountability. "Anyone that walks into my room will always receive a warm welcome," he says. "All of this while saying their name, which is such an important thing to me." For Brandon, it's about recognizing each client as an individual with their own goals and worries, and helping them to constantly place themselves on a higher standard.

Looking to the future, Brandon is training to become a NASM CPT and aims to continue growing as a fitness coach in the DFW area. He also plans to continue his philanthropy projects, such as shoe drives and clothing drives, to help others in the community. "Helping others in the community rather than just ourselves can bring so much intrinsic meaning when it comes to being a partaker in fitness," Brandon shares.

Brandon's journey from client to coach at [solidcore] is a testament to his passion for fitness, community, and making a difference. His classes are not just about getting in shape—they're about embracing challenges, pushing boundaries, and discovering the best version of yourself. So next time you're looking for a workout that's as empowering as it is intense, look no further than Brandon's class at [solidcore].
